I suppose it would be a good idea to explain the purpose of this "blog".

I've been an avid reader for most of my life. Years ago, I thought that I'd never forget any titles or authors of books that I've read. Since then, I've found that I was wrong...

So, the purpose of this "blog" is to record books as I read them (hopefully, I'll remember to update this!)

It would be interesting to see what books other folks have read or think are worth reading. So, I'm going to put in book reports and possibly ask readers if they know of books I'm curious about.

"Official Star Trek Cooking Manual"
by Mary Ann Piccard

copyright 1978 by Paramount Pictures Corporation

publisher: Bantam Books, Inc.

New York, New York 10019

I bought this book in 1978 and found some great recipes. (The book subsequently disappeared.) It is my opinion that everyone should ask the publisher to bring this book back on the market. I wonder if it would do any good for thousands of people to send in letters ordering this book? Well, it would be worth a try.

If you can't buy a copy, there is always inter-library loan!
