1.__Title of Book: "Night Life" *(The first reviewer [linked to "Night"] is respectfully disrespectful and the 2nd review [linked to "Life"] is non- committal.)
2. _____Author: Ray Carton (Author of "Live Girls")3. _____Theme: This is a sequal to "Live Girls", which was a very well written novel (I haven't read it since it first came out even though I've got a recently reprinted copy.) The story starts with Davie Owens and his wife (once a "worker" at Live Girls). They are living in Los Angeles and write romatic comedies for a living. A very rich man (based on Steven King or maybe the guy that did the "Vampire" movies hires a couple of investigators to look into the existance of Vampires. THey find the proof but the "brutals" (the viovent vampires) take revengue. The non-violent Vampires fight back.
This is well done.
4. My comments: This book is very well written. While it isn't up to the standards of the "prequel" ("Live Girls"), it certainly was worth the money I spent for the book. I liked the story and to be redundant, it was worth the money I spent on it.
