3. Theme: A world traveler, from our time, goes into the future and is forced to become a statr ship pilot. He rebels and returned to an Earth far in future and must fight for his life. This is a future Earth which has three intelligent species:
- quasi-immortal "girls" who "rule the sky" and can move the Earth
- quasi-immortal "boys" who "rule the Dictators" and
- the "Dictators", who are "normal people" who reproduce and provide future "boys" and "girls"
4. My comments: I have read to point where Cobert has made contact with the "boys". His is attempting to find the immortality drug for himself and an old Citizen of the State, who lived centuries after Cobert.
The book is an excellent, thoughtful, thought invoking story worth reading.
