Books I've read lately.

2015/2017/2018@ @ When I was on USS FORRESTAL (CVA-59) and in the Security Group Detachment. We were visited by an Intel officer who said that intelligence agencies were run like newspaper offices. There were the Reporters (Intel Analysts), Editors (Editors/Senior Analysts), the Editor in Chief (I don't know what the Spook title is) and the Publisher (Publisher?).@ I think I already went with this idea in the 2017 story but that was about 1 year and 4 months ago. I would have to look this up when working on restarting my "Dent" novels...@ In conversation between The Aunt and Uber-Father have Uber-Father tell The Aunt that genetically Dent was closer to a parent to his siblings than he knew. Dent was programmed to not be physically attracted to any of his siblings.@ Have the Dent folk from village deep South of Central City (modern Ciaro) go to People of the Valley and say they were told of a forerunner called "Dent" who was the first true survivor and his wife, who was the second survivor. Have group hidden in the Temple be group 2; people who went to the PorT be group 3. Have group 4 kill their "trainers" and go hunting for those who attacked the House of the Grandfather...@ See previous notes regarding remainder of these novels...@

1991 Novel revisited (finally)@ This novel has two parts: 1. Rockford. Merge existing story with the "Lawyer's Story" from the QM1's point of view.@ 2. Returnee's Camp in San Diego. I will need to research:@ A) Returnee'd Camp@ B) If there is nothing on the Returnee's Camp, then I can steal from the WO/LDO School.@ C) I'll have to get the name of QM1's future girl friend from 2005 Novel!@ D). I wonder if I can get Kathie to write parts of her speaking? (Probably not.) 3. Anticipates going to sea. Meets her, falls into infatuation (both) and asks to go shore duty. This leads to conversation with CO who realizes QM1 wants to go to sea but does not know this himself. @ 4. CO invites CM/C of a Cruiser to visit. Asks him for his opinion. Could this LN1 survive in a small command? CM/C says yes, I believe so. CO asks so you have an Engineman who could go into this group? @ 5. Rewrite this to include putting QM1 on the LEE.@ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personnel and how they got to the USA ELBERT C LEE:@ Put the addendum with the hiring decisions in Chapter Two.@ @ PC's thesis went to D South CNO for Special Projects. He calls Prospective CO (I must read this novel to see where put him when I wrote the 2005 novel about 13 years, 4 months and 9 days ago - give or take.)@ C O: H is thesis, therefore he is offered conmand. He discusses personnel he wants. Says he needs an CO who is also COB. He is offered a DEAL HMCS who commanded a small boat in 'Nam and who has graduated from Army Green Beret Medical training.@ Asks for an Army of Marine NO with combat experience. DCNO has to get back to him.@

2 April 2019@ Dent and Rowena courting and marrying.@ Good results of this union.@ First births including Emma the mod Hobbit.@ Crystal going to Forrest at age 7 while an outsider was there. Claims Emma as his pet Hobbit and wants to help raise her. Leads to discussion between Forrest and outsider leader. Outsider leader notes Crystal was smaller and better behaved and apparently more intelligent than Half Orca among his people.@ Crystal has "joy" of bathing Emma and Dent's neices/nephews when they were three.@ Crystal and Emma warching group of regular Hobbits leaving City Five to go north. Their leader feines attack and this leads to Emma moving back to Crystal's side, Forrest and two of his fishermen moving from apparent discussion into defensive positions and an apparent human appearing from nowhere (Regimental Commander of the External Guard).@ Hobbits sneer and retreat to their boats for trip to Island (Sicily?).@ Potatoes planting. Taking potatoes to people of the Valley. Group travels under auspecies of Western Grandfather. Go to People of the Valley. Play the cheese joke on Talking Boy and his wife. Have pictures of weddings, including Dent and Roweena. Are not told third group of Dent's offspring are in the Valley.@ Mod Hobbits making coins commentating groups:@ Forrest, His Aunt, Thunder on the Craig, Roweena, Dent, Crystal and 1 year old Emma, Father of All,, Emma when she was in early 20s and a budding Intel Officer@ Hobbits made pictures of everyone over the years@ Emma on diplomatic mission, gets fed up and goes on ahead, is threatened by several human criminals, turns out the Leader of External Guard (must name him) and 4 of his soldiers have followed her and they scare off the criminals...@ Further on Intel agency@ More on stores@ More on magazines, Bards, Investigator.
